Hi, I'm Parker.
I've been making things for as long as I can remember. It started with building games for my brothers as a
kid, and it never really stopped. Something about creating a thing and watching someone interact with it
just never gets old.
I studied psychology because the human experience fascinated me. I went in thinking I'd be a therapist, and somewhere along the way I realized I could use that same curiosity about people in a different way. I don't think of myself strictly as a designer — I'm someone who loves making things and putting them into the world, and right now, design is the medium I'm most excited about.
I tend to follow whatever I find interesting, and my work reflects that. I've built websites, brands, hardware, games, community platforms, tools that make people cry and fake restaurants that make people laugh. At the end of the day, I just love putting things out into the world and seeing people enjoy them.
I'm looking for a small, collaborative team where people care about what they're making. Portland and Seattle are at the top of my list, but I'm open to the right opportunity.
